In 2020, I stumbled upon photography, and it instantly felt right. My grandma and I used to do various art projects together when I was young, and that love for art never left me. I always wanted to pursue something "artsy," but I had know idea what until I picked up a camera. What can I say, it just clicked (pun intended.)

Why maternity?

I decided to focus my brand on maternity, newborn & families, but maternity photography in particular holds a special place in my heart. The beauty of a mother-to-be glowing with the anticipation of new life is unmatched. Capturing the love, joy, and excitement during these sessions is just so beautiful. For me, there's simply nothing else like it.

However, my journey into this niche wasn't without its challenges. When first starting out my photography journey, My husband and I struggled with infertility. Taking those maternity & family photos were painful for me; a constant reminder of what I didn't have. So eventually I just quit taking the sessions all together.

It wasn't until I welcomed my own daughter into the world that I gained a newfound perspective. Becoming a mother myself transformed the way I viewed maternity and family photography. It allowed me to approach each session with empathy, understanding, and an appreciation for how truly precious these moments are.

Now I'm committed to preserving these moments in time for all of my clients. Because to me, there is no love quite like the love a mother has for her child and I am honored to capture it through my lens.
